JUDGEMENT FUND OFFICE
The Judgement Fund Program is a special revenue fund of the Seminole Nation created to provide for tribal programs and services established pursuant to the usage plan for funds awarded to the Seminole Nation as compensation for land taken by the United States. Current programs consist of Burial Assistance, Clothing Assistance, Elderly Assistance and Higher Education Scholarships.
Programs continue each year as long as funds are available and with the General Council approved budget. Programs are not guaranteed annually for each individual; each program has lifetime or annual limits
GENERAL ELGIBILITY
To receive any Judgment Fund benefit, an individual must:
- Be an enrolled member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma, and be a descendant of the Seminole Nation as it existed in Florida on Sept. 18, 1823.
- Must have a Certificate Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) card.
1. Clothing Assistance Program (CAP)
- Benefit: $100 VISA Store Value Card (as funding permits).
- Application Request Window: July 1 – Sept 30
- Application Submission Window: Aug 1 – Sept 30
Eligibility:
- Ages 4–18. (in 12th grade)
- Must be enrolled in school. (public, private, homeschool)
- Must provide Tribal Membership Card & CDIB.
- Additional documents required for homeschool, private school, custody, or adoption cases.
Allowable purchases: Clothing only (shirts, pants, shoes, coats, undergarments, etc.)
Non‑allowable: School supplies, electronics, food, fuel, sport equipment, accessories, backpacks, etc.
NOTE:
- No receipts required; transactions monitored by Judgment Fund
- Misuse may result in one‑year suspension
- Lost card replacement fee: $15
- Expired cards replaced free
2. Elderly Assistance Program
- Benefit: One‑time payment of $2,000
- Eligibility: Must be 62 years or older.

3. Burial Assistance Program
- APPLICATION DEADLINE: Within 90 days of date of death.
Benefit Amounts:
- Stillborn or under age 1: Up to $800
- Age 1 and older: Up to $3,000
- Cremation: Actual cost up to $3,000
- $300 check issued to the responsible party for miscellaneous expenses.

4. Undergraduate Scholarship (HEVT)
- Application Deadline: April 10th for Spring & November 10th for Fall semester.
- For full‑time students only (12+ hours)
- Lifetime maximum: $4,800
- Award amount depends on class status and academic term
REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain 2.5 GPA
- Must have been denied or exhausted funding from SN Higher Education (BIA)

5. Incentive Award
- For students taking 15+ credit hours (Per semester, trimester, quarter) (Spring/Fall)
- Must have 3.0 GPA or higher
- Application Deadline: Within 60 days of the last day of class
- Lifetime maximum: $4,000
- Award amount varies by academic term
